advance. unfortunately we have had an increased number of fail to attend appointments as well as patients having to wait over 4 weeks to book appointments as they went as soon as they were on the system. we met as a team and discussed this with the patient group and have decided to adopt what seems to work in other practices. whilst this will take 4 weeks to be embedded we have moved to the following system. for routine appointments with gp's call on a monday and you will be given an appointment for the following monday, call on a tuesday for the following tuesday and so on. if you have an urgent medical problem you will be seen the same day but this will be to discuss the urgent problem only. please remember to cancel your appointment if you no longer need it. if the gp has asked to
